Jeep Tour Valia Kalda

Starting from Perivoli village an hour by jeep will arrive in Stavros. This beautiful hike starts from the point Stavros, where a footpath cross the valley of Valia Kalda with the beautiful scenery, the dense and lush vegetation, towering pine trees and rich fauna. One of the rare animals that live here are the brown bear .The park of Valia Calda consists of black pine, some oak clusters, some people red pine and the larch vitiligo. Valia Kalda springs Aoos a tributary which flows the foaming waters in the middle of the valley. It is known Arkoudorema which will meet in our path. We will walk along to get to the bridge that allows us to pass on the opposite bank. We will enjoy the landscape and we will follow the path that will lead us to the waterfalls where the gurgling waters will rest our feet. • Coming from Grevena: We take the road to the national ski center and we follow signs for the village Mavranei. From there we continue straight for the village Ziakas. After the village we will find a sign for Perivoli village at our left. We continue straight to the road until we find a sign near the village of Perivoli.

 

• Coming from Kalampaka (Meteora): We take the road to Ioannina. After 10 km at the road junction we turn right to Grevena. We keep following signs to Grevena. At 65m (counting from Kalampaka) we enter Egnatia highway with direction to Ioannina and we exit on the next junction where we follow the road to the national ski center, we pass through the village Mavranei, we continue straight for the village Ziakas. After the village we will find a sign for Perivoli village at our left. We continue until we reach a sign for Perivoli village.

Then we will continue by cars up to the valley and the area of Arkoydorema.
