Rafting at Voidomatis

The descent of Voidomatis River is a magnificent experience, ideal for beginners and families. The descent takes place in the heart of Vikos-Aoos National Park, featuring deep vegetation, plane trees and crystal clear turquoise waters. A beauty that will capture your heart and mind! During the descent we will have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the 16th century Agion Anargiron Monastery and to row our boat under the arched bridge of Klidonia. During the descent you can enjoy a refreshing dive in the crystal clear waters of Voidomatis, with an average temperature of 8 ° C all year round. The journey finishes shortly after Klidonia’s stone bridge, in our rafting base.

• Coming from Ioannina: 52 km national road from Ioannina to Konitsa .

• Ioannina 52 km / 50 minutes
• Konitsa 12 km / 15 minutes

 

Implementation time : Throughout the year.

 

Rafting activity duration: 1,5– 2 hours ( depending the amount of river water )

 

Program duration: 3,5- 4 hours

 

River root length: 6 km

 

Participation terms: Fulfillment of participation document, prepayment of participation fee, physical and mental health.

 

Ages: 5-80 years (depending time of the year and weather conditions)
